Well that was fun...
Our packing and loading was the best one yet. I think that was move #11. We had 130 boxes plus furniture and other things that are too big for boxes to find a new home for. It was all loaded into a giant semi on Tuesday. That evening we went out to dinner and got home about 6 pm and decided to load the car as quickly as possible and hit the road. I thought an overnight trip would be better. Well I now know that it sucks boths ways. The boys went to sleep right away, but the sedated cat yeowled every time the car stopped, which started the dog barking, which made the boys cry....you get the picture. We had 5 stops for gas and driver changes. By 10:30 I could hardly keep my eyes open. Man am I old! Greg actually did most of the driving. We arrived here at 8 in the morning. Well whatever, no more road trips for awhile, at least not one that involve pets. Right now we are staying at my sister's house. Our stuff should arrive on Monday. Our rental house isen't ready yet which has me a little nervous. There is no shower and he said it should be a month before we get one (He told us it was done last week). I will have to get used to long baths. The house is dirty (we were told it was cleaned last week) and he still has some of his storage in the closet, a bed in one room, and an old tub in the yard. The area is great. Ronan's new school is right around the corner. The house is small, but very cute. Our biggest complaint is that there is a beautiful pond with a waterfall in yard....nice, but we are supposed to keep the boys and dog out of it. It is full of frogs and he is going to put fish in it. Do we have to keep them alive? The boys are LOVING the large and very sappy tree that they have already climbed. Any tips on how to get sap out of clothes? Well our phone #'s will stay the same and I will post our new address and email info soon.

Oregon here we come....
So the packers are coming tomorrow and the movers on Tuesday, then we are outta here on Wednesday morning. I think I am excited about it, I will let you know when I get there. We will only be without our stuff for 6 days, so we didn't need to pack much. I gave the boys each one small back pack and told them to pack a few toys. Charley's first pack involved a 10 lb mini pack full of matchbox cars, marbles, mini pirate gear and many other numerous toys. He could hardly carry it, and he thinks what isen't in there is staying here. We dumped it out and told him to start over...pack #2: a large fistful of cotton balls (I have no idea what these were for), a stuffed red panda with a string tied around the waist, and 7 matchbox cars. Ronan's had 7 cars, a mini football, a dinosaur, 2 carabiners, a crazy 8 card game and a monster truck. Seriously if you had to be without your toys for a week, these are the things you can't live without? Charley also will not part with the Mason jar full of pill bugs (rolli pollies). They have been living in my house for 3 days now and I'm sure will join us in the car....he is afraid Oregon doesn't have such cool bugs. So we are off....12 hours in a car with 2 boys exploding with energy, 1 cat (which I plan on sedating), and a 9 month old dog (also exploding with energy, she got a bath tonight so at least we won't smell her). I know you are all jealous of this adventure and wish you could ride in the car with us...sorry no room.

Funny boys
As I am drying Charley from his bath tonight he says... "Mama, when I am big like Daddy, I'm not gonna wear deodering (deodorant), that way the girls won't kiss me." Really, is this what boys worry about! I said "So you want to stink", He says, "Well okay, I will put deodering on but then I will have to run, I don't want to be kissed." Ronan hears and comes running in to the rescue. Wise boy says "You are gonna have to have a momma some day, they are the ones that have the babies. They only grow in Mama bellies. You want kids don't you? I'm gonna get me one." Scary, for a minute there I thought we were going to have a birds and bees conversation. I'm not ready for that yet.

Rain, Rain go away...
We had a very uneventful Easter week. I had lots planned, but Ronan, Charley and I have this hacking, coughing, fever, snot virus. They did a little egg decorating with 102 degree temperatures and an egg hunt in the yard. We missed Church on Sunday as well, but we spent a relaxing afternoon kite flying. They boys have finally recovered after 2 weeks, but I still have a little of the bug. I'm sure it will go away some day. The boys were bored today, so I bundled them up and sent them out in the rain...that lasted 10 minutes. Yes the dog has a coat too. I had her shaved this last week, because the shedding was more than I could handle. Think sweeping twice a day, lots of vacuuming, daily dog combing and hair in our food. But the weather decided to turn cold again, so now poor pooch who has lost her floof gets cold. Her mouth is open, because she is eating a large rock. She also loves metal drain pipes, wood, foam, and her very favorite is anything made of hard plastic. We really do feed her and give her appropriate chew toys. I really hope the weather warms up, because we are planning on leaving on Saturday to take a camping vacation...
