LOVE THEM!

The boys are so much fun!!!

Mushroom

God's little critter umbrellas. Aren't they cool? I found them in my yard.

Halloween 2010

Ronan was a mean viking and Charley was a tough lumber jack. We used LOTS of duct tape! I hate it when the pictures turn out fuzzy. This year we had a great dinner with some good friends, then trick or treating we went. The boys collected almost 4 lbs of candy and sold (their choice) to a dentist for $1/lb. The candy was sent to the troops in Afganistan.

Fall fun

We visited a local farm to get our pumpkins this year. We took a mini train ride to see and feed some animals, climbed a giant haystack (and went inside the thing) and looked for just the right pumpkins. The boys carved them so early that they were a pile of mushy before Halloween

Greg's birthday

For his birthday, Greg wanted to go to a Beaver game with his Dad and boys. Greg and Jim had a great time and the Beavers won. Taking the boys to the game goes on the list of "won't happen again for a VERY LONG TIME. 5 and 7 year old's cannot sit for 4-5 hours, nope, not going to happen, impossible.

Some first's

That would be Charley's first day of school. I (Mama) had a very hard time with this one. I'm not ready for this yet. You can clearly see who he loves best. Greg gets the big hug and he tries his best to avoid my love. He is doing great and enjoying Kindergarten in Mrs. G's class. He goes from 8:20-11:00. Ronan is in Mrs. Miller's 1st/2nd grade mix class. I wasn't too hip on this one. His class is 28 kids huge and somewhat controlled chaos. He seems to learn a lot about bugs and does go to a separate teacher for 1 hour of math a day. Some how, some way, he is learning and doing well. He gets out at 2:40. So I walk to that school 3 times a day and am always staring at the clock. Ronan has also lost (finally) his first tooth. He HATES to wiggle them or even touch them, so his first tooth was loose for about 7 weeks. His second which we keep saying any day has been loose about that long. I won't touch it. Gross.
