A day at Mt. St. Helens

Just a short 2 hour drive to beauty.

We had a huge hike planned, but took a wrong turn and it ended up being a short one. I guess we will have to go back.

Stop taking pictures of me!

Getting some rock samples...sounded like we were walking on broken dinner plates.

A swinging suspension bridge...scary. Greg and Charley loved it. Ronan and I, not so much.

Ronan always sends his brave little brother into danger first! If you make it across okay, then I'll go.

Checking out a Monarch butterfly.

Lava flowed right through here. Crazy!

Ronan's 8th Birthday

Charley is cooling off with Fishing Grandpa and Grandma.

We picked a hot, sweaty weekend at their favorite BMX track for a bike party. They had a blast!

Tired, sweaty cousins waiting for cake.

Sharing a drink with Ellie

Thank you for all the presents!

End of Summer days

Our first and probably last try at making pickles. They are too sour if that's possible, but they look yummy lined up on the pantry shelf.

Canned peaches... in a medium syrup and way too sweet for Greg and I. The boys LOVE them.

Artwork on the porch...Ronan's man blowing off of a volcano. Still inspired by Hawaii.

Charley...lost in his artwork.
